A very worthy collection of eleven songs that I suspect are going to increase her visibility in the country and bluegrass genre.
Clarisse utilizes 'place' better than most to magnify the emotional heft of her creations. There is sorrow within the deliberately crafted lyrics, but the overarching theme is the impermanence that we must accept as we survive the years: eventually everything fades to memory.
